Supergalactic clusterHercules supercluster
This image has captured a medium sized galaxy cluster in central Hercules, about 2.5 degrees west from eta Her. The cluster consists of about 90 member galaxies with a giant elliptic galaxy of NGC6166 as a principal one, and is about 400 millions light years away. The cluster is one of main parts of Hercules super cluster with the Hercules cluster (Abell 2151) and Abell 2197.
