Galactic superclusterLeo Supercluster
This is a galaxy cluster located in the southern part of Leo, near the border with Sextans. It can be found about 7.4° southwest of σLeo, which marks the tip of Leo's hind leg. Because the cluster lies at a distance of more than 500 million light-years, the individual galaxies are faint and poorly resolved, but a little over 30 galaxies are concentrated within an area about 30 arcminutes across. It belongs to the Leo Supercluster.
