The orbits of Earth and Saturn have a tilt each other, the angle of Saturn's ring changes with a cycle of 30 years. This set of Saturn images shows you the change of ring from 1995 to 2012. In 1995, we observed the Saturn from just beside, so the ring disappeared seemingly. And the southern face of ring is full-opened in 2003. After this the angle of ring will be getting smaller and smaller, and the ring disappeared again in 2010. From 2011 onward, we're observing the northern hemisphere of saturn.
