This is a 26-aged Dawn Moon seen in dawn eastern skies. The opposite-phased moon seen in evening west skies is the Crescent Moon. The Procellarum, Ocean accounts for the majority of northern (lower in the image) part of moon, some larger craters of Schickard, and so on, can be seen in southern (upper in the image) part. I took this image during midday in higher altitude with the infrared.
