This is a vast and round lunar sea of Serenitatis, MARE (Sea of Serenity). The sea is surrounded on all sides by lunar mountainous ranges of Caucasus, Heamus, Apenninus (out of field of view), and Taurus, MONTES. The sea of serenity looks like a well-proportioned basin. You can hardly detect craters in Serenitatis, MARE, but a clear feature like a wrinkle (the wrinkle ridge) lies in north-south direction.
