In the Arctic area of moon, a long and narrow lunar sea of Frigoris, MARE (Sea of Frigidity) has been spread. The entirety of sea extends to near the Iridum, SINUS faraway out of this picture to the right, and has width and length of about 250km and 1800km respectively. It's considered that the Basin of this lunar sea was completed as a part of multi-ring structure of a gigantic hollow formed by a meteorite collision.
You can see a small round plain with a name of Mortis, LACUS (Lake of Mortality) just south of Frigoris, MARE. The lake was formed by basaltic lava filled a large crater, and then a medium sized crater of Burg formed in central area of Mortis, LACUS. You can appreciate with interests several strips lying radially from the Burg toward outside.
