A round lunar sea in the eastern part is called Nectaris, MARE. This Necatris, MARE was completed by basaltic lava that filled a huge hollow of a gigantic meteorite collision. The especially large hollows have been called Basins, and that of this lunar sea is called "Nectaris Basin".
The Nectaris Basin has a double-ring structure, inside and outside rings have diameters of 400km and 800km, respectively. And the Nectaris, MARE has been formed the lava fills only inside ring. You can see the exterior ring clearly in southwest part; this outline has a name of Altai, RUPUS (Bluff of Altai). And you can see a crater of Fracastorius with a diameter of 124km adjoining in southern edge of the sea. The crater is poured about half by dark lava, and looks like an inlet facing to the Nectaris, MARE.
