Mars on Aug 29, 2003

   This set of Martian images show you the rotation of Mars for 5 hours captured on Aug 29, 2003, two days after its closest.
   The Solis Lacus has set in western rim, and you can see some features like Mare Sirenum, Mare Cimmerium etc. In this face the Mars has major features only in southern hemisphere, and we cannot detect striking patterns in northern part (lower in images).
