At midnight in August, southern summerly constellations of Scorpius and Saggitarius have already started to set in southwest, several autumnal constellations are rising in the eastern skies. The Milky Way is passing the skies from southwest to northeast. You can see the exceptionally brighter Milky Way around Cygnus just passed the zenith.
