This image shows you the eastern skies toward dawn in September. You can see the glittering dawn Venus in lower sky, and the Milky Way is flowing from upper left to lower right. And it can be detected that a faint light band is stretching from the eastern lower sky and crossing the Milky Way. This is the "Zodiacal light", observed by the dispersed light of particles floating in the solar system.
The zodiacal light shows us the orbital plane of solar system. And the Milky Way indicates the Galactic plane in which our solar system is included. We can see directly the angle of solar system and the Galaxy in this wide-field picture.
