This is a three-hours-sequence of photographs taken during the total lunar eclipse of Sep 7 to the early morning of Sep 8, 2025. You can see the eclipse progressing as the Moon descends in the southwestern sky.
Note that the background image has been composited with a star field photographed during totality at 26:51 with an 8-second exposure.
