This is the full progress of the total lunar eclipse seen night of Sep 7 to the early morning of Sep 8, 2025. Through the umbral and total eclipse for about 3.5 hours, I was able to observe in the best conditions without being affected by clouds. Around 27:10, when the eclipse reached its maximum magnitude, the entire moon was dyed crimson. The partial eclipse following totality appeared yellowish due to the Moon's low altitude above the horizon.
All photos are shown with north facing up.
