Auto-guided with VIXEN ATLUX Equatorial & Meade Pictor 201XT
Digital Camera: Nikon D50 (Remodeled)
Location: Ooizumi, Hokuto city, Yamanashi pref.

Camera Settings: Recording Format...12bit CCD-RAW, converted to 16bit TIFF(3008×2000)
CCD Sensitivity...ISO1600



This image has captured the comet Wild 2 going away from us at eastern region of Virgo. The comet has a coma with 10th magnitude in brightness and a dust tail with 15 arc minutes in length, almost same with that observed in last month. The ionized composition around coma has become dimmer.
