Composed 4 shots with 10 minutes exposed
Optical: Meade 25cm(10") Schmidt Cassegrain with a conversion lens (f=1760mm, F7.1)
Auto-guided with Meade LX200 Equatorial & Pictor 201XT
Digital Camera: Nikon D50 (Remodeled)
Location: Ooizumi, Hokuto city, Yamanashi pref.

Camera Settings: Recording Format...12bit CCD-RAW, converted to 16bit TIFF(3008×2000)
CCD Sensitivity...ISO1600



The comet Wild 2 in that day has been positioned at 5.5 degrees north from Spica with a coma brightness of about 9th magnitude. In that day the southern skies were covered by thin haze, moreover the Moon light obstructed to record detailed structures of the comet.
