The comet Tuttle in that day has been positioned in Triangulum with a visual brightness of about 6th magnitude almost in its maximum. I can detect the greenish blued coma clearly with a binocular. This image shows you a dimmed ion tail stretched in ENE direction.
And in that day a spiral galaxy of M33 has been positioned at 2 degrees north of the comet.
