Auto-guided with TAKAHASHI EM-200 Equatorial
Digital Camera: Fujifilm FinePix S2Pro
Location: Ooizumi vil., Yamanashi pref.

Camera Settings: Recording Format...12bit CCD-RAW, converted to 16bit TIFF(3024×2016)
CCD Sensitivity...ISO1600, White Balance...Auto



This image shows you the comet Encke positioned at the tip of Cygnus's nose. And you can see an open cluster of Cr399, The Coat hunger, just southwest of the comet.
In that day the comet had a visual brightness of about 7th magnitude and a fan-like indistinct greenish tail. The Encke will move to western horizon from this time on, and will return to us three years later again.
