The comet Honda-Mrkos-Pajdusakova passed the perihelion in Jan 2017 and moved to the eastern dawn skies. In that day the comet has positioned in central region of Aquila, closed to the Earth with a distance of about 0.1 au. The coma has an apparent diameter of over 10 arc minutes. However, I could detect no clear tails maybe due to apparent distribution of the gaseous composition.
The image has been cropped with an equivalent f=500mm. (View angle: 4.10×2.73°)
