On this day, Comet Schwassmann-Wachmann 1 was positioned 11.5 degrees WSW of Castor in Gemini in the midnight zenith, and a 11th magnitude coma was observed. The central condensed light has become weaker than the previous observation, but the apparent diameter of the coma has almost doubled to about 4 arc minutes.
