On this day, Comet 2025A6 Lemmon was observed in the northeastern sky at dawn, in the southern part of Lynx, showing a green coma of about 8th magnitude. An ion tail extending about 1.5 degrees to the northwest was also visible. In October, Comet Lemmon is expected to move into the northwestern evening sky and brighten to 4th magnitude.
