This page shows you the comet 2022E3 ZTF which became 5th magnitude two days and one day before the closest approach to the Earth. The comet is moving southwest at a speed of about 6.3 degrees per day in the northeastern part of Camelopardalis. Declination reached 80 degrees at midnight on January 30 (early morning on January 31), and apparently the direction of the tail changed rapidly from south to southeast. The second set of images was taken with a short-focused telescope. Although the ion tail reaches more than 4 degrees in the apparent length, seems to be changing faintly at midnight on Jan 31. The dust tail appears to be widely diffused from the south to the east direction.
