On this day, comet 2021S3 PanSTARRS was positioned in the summer Milky Way about 5 degrees northeast of η Serpentis Cauda in the southeastern sky in the early morning. The brightness of the coma slightly exceeded the forecast at 9th magnitude, with a large curved tail extending towards the southwest direction. The comet is currently reaching almost maximum brightness and will gradually dim as it moves northward along the Milky Way.
