Optical: TAKAHASHI 12.5cm Fluorite refractor with conversion lens (f=710mm, F5.7)
Auto-guided with VIXEN ATLUX Equatoria

Sensitivity...ISO1600



In the dawn lower eastern skies, I could capture the comet 2021A1 Leonard in its maximum brightness of about 4th magnitude. It was about 15 degrees in the elevation of comet, I was forced to take through the branches of trees. In that day the comet positioned at southern edge of Hercules, the image shows a dust tail with a length of about 1.5 degrees. After the next day, the comet Leonard get close to the sun and become unobservable. Afterwards the comet will move to the western evening sky.
