The comet C/2017T2 PanSTARRS in that day was positioned at only 35 arc minutes southeast of an open cluster of M36 in the pentagon of Auriga. The comet has an 11th magnitude coma, and you can detect a curved 5 arc minutes-long dust tail stretched in southwest direction.
