with BaaderPlanetarium Moon&Skyglow filter
Auto-guided with Meade LX200 Equatorial & Lacerta M-GEN

Location: Ooizumi, Hokuto city, Yamanashi pref.

The comet 2017K2 PanSTARRS in that day has positioned in the Milky Way around northeast edge of Ophiuchus with a 9th magnitude coma after midnight. This image shows you that the comet has started to evolve coma and dust tail stretched in north direction compared to my previous observation. The comet will be observable at northern hemisphere until autumn of 2022, and brighten up around 5th or 6th magnitude visible at southen hemisphere in the end of the year.
