Composed 8 shots with 3min. exposed
Optical: Meade 25cm(10") Schmidt-Cassegrain with a conversion lens (f=1600mm, F6.3)
with BaaderPlanetarium UV/IR cut filter
Auto-guided with Meade LX200 Equatorial & Pictor 201XT
Digital Camera: Canon EOS 600D (Remodeled)
Location: Ooizumi, Hokuto city, Yamanashi pref.

Camera Settings: Recording format...14bit CCD-RAW, converted to 16bit TIFF(5184×3456)
Sensitivity...ISO3200



The comet 2015V2 Johnson in that day has positioned at 7 degrees southeast of Alcaid, a tip star of the Big Dipper. You can detect in this image that the comet has a 11th magnitude coma and a short dust tail stretched in northwestt direction. We will be able to chase the comet from now on getting brighter gradually for summer of 2017.
