The comet 2014Q2 Lovejoy had the closest approach to Earth in beginning of Jan 2015, started to go away. The 4th magnitude coma is keeping its activity, these images show the complicated ion tail stretched to east direction with a length of about 10 degrees. In that day the comet has positioned at 8.5 degrees southwest of the Pleiades (M45), I could enjoy the Rendez-vous with a binocular.
