The comet 2014Q2 Lovejoy in that day has positioned in southern region of Taurus, I could observe under fairly good condition due to higher elevation. The coma has a brightness of about 4th or 5th magnitude. The second image shows an ion tail with a large-scaled disturbance, irregularities can be observed clearly.
The 1st image has been cropped with an equivalent f=1600mm. (View angle: 0.79×0.53°)
The 2nd image has been cropped with an equivalent f=300mm. (View angle: 4.25×2.84°)
