Composed 6 shots with 3min. exposed
Optical: TAKAHASHI 16cm (6.3") epsilon (f=530mm, F3.3)
with IDAS LPS-P2-FF Light-pollution suppression filter
Auto-guided with TAKAHASHI EM-200 Equatorial
Digital Camera: Canon EOS 600D (Remodeled)
Location: Furudono town, Fukushima pref.

Camera Settings: Recording format...14bit CCD-RAW, converted to 16bit TIFF(5184×3456)
Sensitivity...ISO3200


This image shows you the comet 2013X1 PanSTARRS three months later of my previous observation. The comet has moved the oppsite side of the sun, positioned at a boundary on Pisces and Aquarius in lower dawn skies. I could observe the coma as about 7th magnitude, a bit dimmer than the prediction. The elevation of the comet had only 10 degrees, the haze in lower sky made hard to detect its tails. This image can somehow shows a spread dust tail in north direction.
