The comet 2009R1 McNaught in that day has been positioned around 5 degrees north of gamma Peg. I could hardly detect the comet with telecsope-aided eyes because this image has captured at light-polluted site. But this image shows you an 8th magnitude coma and an indistinct dust tail stretched in southwest direction.
