Optical: VIXEN 20cm(7.9") VISAC (f=1800mm, F9.0)
Auto-guided with VIXEN ATLUX Equatorial & Meade Pictor 201XT
Digital Camera: Nikon D50 (Remodeled)
Location: Ooizumi, Hokuto city, Yamanashi pref.

Camera Settings: Recording Format...12bit CCD-RAW, converted to 16bit TIFF(3008×2000)
CCD Sensitivity...ISO1600



My first observation of comet McNaught showed 9th magnitude coma in central region of Aquila. Although the comet has no striking tails, greenish blued coma could be detected easily through a telescope. Comet McNaught will move northward rapidly from now on, and obseving condition will become better.
