Date & Time: Dec 19 2009, from 27:24 to 28:05 JST(+0900)
Composed 5 shots with 10 minutes exposed
Optical: Meade 25cm(10") Schmidt Cassegrain with a conversion lens (f=1760mm, F7.1)
Auto-guided with Meade LX200 Equatorial & Pictor 201XT
Digital Camera: Nikon D50 (Remodeled)
Location: Ooizumi, Hokuto city, Yamanashi pref.

Camera Settings: Recording Format...12bit CCD-RAW, converted to 16bit TIFF(3008×2000)
CCD Sensitivity...ISO1600



The first shot of comet Siding Spring in that day has been positioned in eastern region of Coma Berenices, has a coma with brightness of 9th magnitude and a dust tail with length of about 15 arc minutes stretched in west direction. And we can detect a dimmed greenish ionized composition around the coma.
In that day the comet had about its maximum apparent brightness, will move to northeast direction from now on.
