This image shows you the comet Machholz in May 2005 with brightness of about 8th magnitude. The comet has positioned in 50 arc minutes northeast of delta UMa, one of stars form the Big Dipper. You can detect a greenish dimmed coma and a short dust tail stretched toward west direction with its length of 15 arc minutes or so.
