A new comet of C/2002C1 Ikeya-Zhang, discovered by two comet seekers in Japan and China on Feb 1, was positioned at the constellation of Cetus in evening western sky with a visual magnitude of 9.
I could detect only dimmed coma through 10" telescope, but this image shows you a bluish green coma and very fine ion tail stretching toward east.
It's predicted that comet Ikeya-Zhang will bright up to about 4th magnitude in end of March 2002.
