This scene shows you the glittering Jupiter in cloudy southwest skies and the glow of fireflies in gloomy grassy plain.
Chasing fireflies is a pastime that gives poetic charm to early summer in Japan. A local town of Tatsuno, in central inland Japan, is very famous for breeding grounds of Japanese native species of firefly (Genji-Botaru). I could enjoy fantastic boisterous dance of over thousand fireflies in that night.
