In July 2001, four major planets in the solar system gathered in the eastern dawn skies. This wide-field image has been captured at Mt. Fuji.
A dimmed star just above the horizon is the Mercury and the Jupiter is glittering just upper right of Mercury. The Venus and Saturn are paralleling in fairy higher sky. The Aldebaran and the Hyades in the constellation of Taurus can be seen near those two inner and outer planets.
This picture has been taken with a digital still camera.
