Location: Subashiri halfway up Mt. Fuji, Shizuoka pref.



This picture shows you the sinking star trails toward Mt. Fuji dominating in west direction. A striking and bright star in right hand side of the summit is Arcturus, alpha Bootis.
I took this picture choosing time of moonset of the first quarter. We can see ultramarine colored skies due to the afterglow of moon.
