Located 1.8 degrees southeast of γ Ceti, in the head of the constellation Cetus, is the faint spiral galaxy UGC 2302. Its major axis spans just under 5 arcminutes, but with a brightness of 14th magnitude, it is not suitable for visual observation. Although it has a very indistinct spiral structure, detailed features cannot be discerned in this image.
