This page displays a spectrogram of NGC4361 taken with a spectrometer and a spectral profile provided from it. The profile shows emission lines from the Balmer series from H-alpha to H-gamma and the ionized oxygen atoms of two O-III lines. Those lines are familiar to many other planetary nebulae, but NGC4361 has a strong peculiar line of He-II at 4686Å from ionized helium atoms.
