These are two spiral galaxies located approximately 2.5 degrees northeast of θ Ceti in the central region of constellation. The one on the west (right) is NGC600, and the one on the east (left) is NGC615. Both have sizes of just over 3 arc minutes with brightness ranging from 12th to 13th magnitudes, and they appear in the distant range of 85 to 92 million light years. These galaxies form a small galaxy group with NGC584 and NGC596 located just to the northwest (upper right-hand side) of this image.
