NGC40 is a larger-sized planetary nebula about 0.6 arc minutes in diameter. The nebula has a reddish and spiral figure, you can appreciate same image with this picture in higher magnification. The nebula is positioned at +72 degrees in declination, can be observed almost all year around at northern hemisphere.
