NGC1502 is a medium sized open cluster in central region of Camelopardalis. The cluster has a brightness of about 5.7th magnitude, you can detect it only with portable binoculars. The cluster contains about 40 member stars with brightness of 6th to 10th magnitude.
You can see an asterism of "Kemble's cascade" stretched toward northwest direction formed by 8th magnitude stars paralleled. The NGC1502 is positioned at start point of this cascade.
