In the western region of Aries, this picture has captured a field of 6.6×4.9 degrees at the south of η Arietis. This region contains the rich molecular cloud that constitutes the "Taurus Molecular Cloud" distributed to the east around Taurus. A cloud with a span of 5 degrees in east west direction in the upper part of this picture has IDs of LBN707, LBN703, and LBN688 from east to west.
