This 10.2~6.4star field covers the California Nebula (NGC1499) in a previous page and its northeast region. Actually seemingly empty field contains a stripe-shaped extraordinary indistinct dark lane; the southeast edge of the lane has been recognized as a tiny reflection nebula of NGC1579. The field is well-known as one of molecular cloud-rich area in the heavens; we can capture their complicated molding on long-exposed digital devices.
