This is a small galaxy cluster located at the southern edge of Pegasus, 3.7 degrees NNE of ι Piscium.

Abell 2657 contains just over 50 tiny galaxies within a region about 30 arcminutes across.
The brightest member is the elliptical galaxy CGCG 407-53, seen slightly above and to the left of center,
but its apparent diameter is less than 1 arcminute and its brightness is only about 15th magnitude.
The distance to the cluster is estimated to be about 440 million light-years.
