This page shows you the fine streamline structures of solar corona during the totality on Aug 21, 2017 by the high-dynamic range (HDR) composing of multi-stage exposed shots. And I performed the enhancement processing utilized of the rotational masking method. An upper image indicating the distribution of outer corona shows you the ecliptic, Moon's path, rotation axis of the sun, names of stars in the field of view (α Leo, Regulus and ν Leo) and their magnitudes. You can switch displayed/ hidden states of those explanations by clicking a button in upper right hand side of the page.
In this total solar eclipse, the sun was in the minimum activity period, we can see the typical feature of corona's shape that stretched in east west directions. Three remarkable coronal streams can be seen in east and west directions from the solar southern hemisphere and in northwest direction from the northern hemisphere. They're stretched about four to five times of the solar radius. More, you can recognize the occulting moon's pattern obscurely due to the Earth shine.
The second magnified image shows you the streamline structures of inner corona. The fine streams are stretched mainly from the solar both pole regions. Those patterns are reflecting the distribution of solar magnetic field.
