This image shows you the partial lunar eclipse observed on July 5, 2001 in Tokyo. It's rainy season at that time every year at Japan, the celestial event had been enjoyed at very limited regions in Japan. Thin clouds covered the Moon during the progress of eclipse, it was a lunar eclipse of hazy moon.
The Moon started to be eclipsed at 22:30, and about half of Moon was eclipsed in maximum about at midnight. The eclipsed part of Moon should be observed with dimmed reddish light, I couldn't detect it through a binocular because of a bad transparency condition.
