At about 26:47 JST of Oct 19, 2012, a bright bolide with -6th magnitude belonging to Orionids Meteor shower appeared just north of Orion's belt. The bolide left a clear meteoric trail, I could observe it for about 30 minutes.
These images show you the change of distribution of meteoric matters forming a vast helix captured with a wide-photo lens. The appeared point of bolide was very near to me with a distance of only 60 miles (100km) or so, around over Mt. Fuji.
