As a general prediction said, the Leonids meteor shower in 2000 had a calm activity with about 30 meteors per hour in maximum early morning of November 18 in Japan. I could see several bright shooting stars of the Leonids under a bad condition with last quarter of Moon lying at the constellation of Leo.
And this image shows you a Leonids meteor appeared at the east of Orion with a brightness of about 0th magnitude, never a defect on film...
